Air source heat pump providing heating and hot water for a renovation project in Oxford

During renovation works, a homeowner in Oxfordshire sought to upgrade their heating system to a more sustainable and cost-effective solution. The aim was to move away from reliance on gas and future-proof the property with efficient, renewable technology.

Solution

EnergyMyWay replaced the existing gas boiler with a modern Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP), providing the home with renewable heating and hot water. The system qualified for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, enabling the client to receive a £7,500 grant towards the installation costs.

To maximise comfort and efficiency, a zoned underfloor heating system was also fitted as part of the renovation. This allowed the household to enjoy an even distribution of warmth throughout the property, with greater control over heating different areas of the home.

EnergyMyWay have a been a key partner since 2012 in supporting our target to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs at our Monument Park site.  Their experience and expertise has been invaluable in helping us achieve this goal.
