Two years ago 10% of our new solar installations included a solar battery, now that figure is closer to 85%.
With the increasing cost of electricity there is now a greater incentive to use as much of the solar energy that is generated on site as possible, and not sell it back to the grid. Why sell a kWh of electricity for 15p when you can store it in your battery and save 34p?

Full System Monitoring
You will be able to monitor the performance of your battery through a dedicated battery app.
Once your array has been installed, our team will set up your PV and battery system on your phone, so you’ll be able to see in realtime and historical performance data.
The image opposite is taken from the SolarEdge monitoring platform, one of our most popular inverter and battery manufacturers, but whether you have a Solis, Growatt, SolaX or GivEnergy system you will be able to view similar information through their own apps.
The ability to monitor online also has the benefit of enabling us to diagnose any issues remotely.
Getting the right solution

We work with all the leading battery manufacturers such as GivEnergy, SolaX, PureDrive and SolarEdge, in order to give you the greatest choice and opportunity to find the right solution for you.
Location of the battery, or batteries, can sometimes be a challenge, mainly due to their weight and size, so our detailed pre-installation technical survey by one of our engineers is critical in ensuring you are happy with the location of your solar storage system.
Batteries can either be installed in your house, garage, or even on an external wall.

Making the most of your battery
Some of the latest energy tariffs, from suppliers such as Octopus, enable you to charge your battery on a cheap overnight tariff, then use that electricity during the more expensive daytime rates.
Clients tell us that they use this during the winter months when there is less excess electricity being generated by their solar array.
