11kW Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pump in an Oxfordshire house

In October 2025 we supplied and installed an 11kW Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pump and Hot Water Cylinder in a house in Oxfordshire.

The heat pump was installed on the side of the house, with insulated flow and return pipes running vertically up the outside wall to the loft space, where we installed the cylinder. All the copper pipes you can see were subsequently insulated to minimise heat loss.

Our clients were carrying out extensive renovations to their house in Oxfordshire, and were keen to replace their gas boiler with an air source heat pump.

We worked alongside the client’s architect to put together a design that worked for the client. They were keen to retain as much of the living space in the house as possible, so we installed the hot water cylinder in the loft space.

We also designed and installed a new heat emitter system, with underfloor heating on the ground floor and new radiators on the first floor.
