College training centre for future heat pump installers
Following the securement of a government bid, Mid Kent College were looking for a reputable and experienced installer to install both a Ground Source and Air Source heat pump within a purpose-built energy centre.
Here we fitted a Vaillant Flexotherm Ground Source and Samsung Air Source Heat Pumps as ‘working’ classroom examples to students looking to become future Heat Pump Engineers.
In order to display effectively we fitted the ground loop to the exterior of the class room wall as shown below. Inside we located a 5kw Flexotherm pump with Brine Filling station, Buffer Tank, Hot Water Cylinder, VRC Controls as well as a small radiator circuit.
