With high energy costs the client wanted to reduce their bills and reliance of buying electricity in from the grid.  The client had a new grain drying barn recently constructed which had a roof which was perfect for the installation of Solar Panels.

EnergyMyWay worked with an electrical engineer to design a system which could supply the electricity to the living accommodation on the site (2 x farm cottages) and supply electricity to the farm buildings. The solution was to electrically divide the array into 4 separate arrays, 2 smaller 7.2kWp arrays each feeding the farm cottages. The larger, 2 x 27kWp, arrays feed the farm buildings.
