The BBC reports that North Kesteven Council have had complaints about door salesmen cold calling householders in their area and providing misleading advice. Its a timely reminder that only firms that have their MCS accreditation can undertake installations if the householders want to benefit from the Feed in Tariff that can enable a 11% return on the initial capital of an installation. EnergyMyWay never cold call potential customers but they do offer free advice over the telephone and a free survey for those interested in exploring the generation of electricity through solar panels or wind turbines; the generation of solar hot water; and the generation of heat from heat pumps and biomass.
