Solar Panel installations in the South West out perform other parts of the UK by up to 10%. Looking at the Solar Irradiance map for the UK you can see the the optimum location for a solar pv installation is in the South West.
When showing the performance calculations for solar pv installations EnergyMyWay always uses the MCS approved method which does not take into account where your installation is geographically in the UK, the MCS calculation assumes solar irradiation levels of 800, whereas the actual figure for the South West is 1100 which will significantly increase the performance of the installation.
