Should I install batteries for my Solar PV system?

Before installing batteries to maximise the use of your electricity generated from your Solar PV system you should first of all consider if it?s really the best option for you.  To do this you need to know when and how you use electricity in your property.

If you use most of your electricity during the day and can change the times you use power hungry devices such as washing machines & dishwashers to the daytime, then you may not get much benefit from installing a battery system.

If you know how much electricity you are consuming and when, we will be able to recommend a system that will best suit your requirements ? if you are not already monitoring your electricity consumption there are lots of energy monitors on the market which are simple to use.

EnergyMyWay can offer and install a range of battery systems and tailor a solution to meet your needs.

The BRE have written a guide for those considering installing batteries with their Solar PV system which you can download from here.
