Renewable Heat Incentive rates for biomass reduced from January 2016

Ofgem have confirmed there will be changes to the Renewable Heat Incentive rates from 1st January, for both the Domestic and Non-Domestic schemes.

The Domestic RHI rate will fall by 20% from 6.43p/kWh to 5.14p/kWh.

The Non-Domestic rate will be reduced by 10% from 4.18p/kWh for Tier 1 and 1.11p/kWh for Tier 2, to 3.76p/kWh and 1p/kWh respectively.
