Successful installation of Kingspan KW6 wind turbine
We kept our fingers crossed that the rain would hold off long enough for us to install the Kingspan KW6 wind turbine. The day of the install arrived and luckily the vehicles were able to get into the field to off load the turbine and the rain held off all day. Our installation team was supported by Kingspan who sent down one of their experienced installers from Scotland.
The concrete foundation for the wind turbine mast had been constructed several weeks prior to the installation to make sure the concrete had ample time to set. The turbine and mast was delivered in the morning and the turbine head secured to the mast. The wind turbine was erected and ready to turn shortly after lunch.
