Is grid independence becoming more achievable?

With record high energy prices our clients are looking to reduce their energy bills by installaing a battery storage systems along with their Solar PV array reducign their dependence on the grid.

1 in 3 of our current installations are paired with a battery storage system. A battery storage system stores electiricty generated by your array, which without a battery would usually be exported to the grid, you can then use the stored electricity at night when your array is no longer generating.

Battery storage systems come in a variety of different formats AC coupled & DC coupled, with backup options in case of powercuts, 5kW to 13.5kW in capacity. We will be able to advise which is the best soluation for you whether you have an existing Solar PV array and want to add battery storage or are considering having Solar PV installed for the first time.

A client with a 5kWp (14 panel Solar PV array) paired with a SolarEdge energy bank 10kW battery is seeing savings on their electricty bill for the first week of September of an incredible 66%, going a long way to making them less dependant on the grid for electricity.

Below are a couple of screen shots from the monitoring app that is part of the SolarEdge system.

We are currently experiencing very high call volumes but we are passionate about what we do and if you have emailed or called we will make contact and will be happy to discuss you what options are best for you.
