Interest free loans for renewables in Scotland

Interest free loans are available in Scotland to the value of £2000 to help with the capital cost of installing renewables.  Taking up the loans will not effect your eligibility for other incentive schemes such as feed in tariffs and the renewable heat incentive.  The scheme is funded by £500,000 surplus (yes, surplus!) in the energy budget due to the delays in the RHI.

The scheme will be open on 1 April 2011. If you are interested you should call your local Energy Saving Scotland advice centre on 0800 512 012
