Feed-in Tariff rates from 1st January 2014 for Solar PV

Woodgreen Leisure Centre roof mounted Solar PV arrayGood news, there is little change in the Feed-in Tariffs (the amount you get paid for generating renewable electricity) from the 1st January 2014. The Feed-in Tariff rates listed below will be fixed for all installations that take place between 1st January and 1st April 2014 for 20 years, payments are tax free and index linked.

Installations up to 50kWp remain unchanged (typically 200 x 250w panels), this means that if you are considering a large Solar PV installation you should act sooner rather than later if you want to guarantee the higher feed-in tariff rates.
