Feed-in Tariff Review

The Government are going to drastically cut the Feed-in Tariff for Solar PV installations with effect from the 12th December.   The proposal will reduce the tariff from 43.3p / kWh to 21p / kWh this will only effect installations registered after the 12th December.

Read about the proposed cuts on the DECC website here: http://www.decc.gov.uk/en/content/cms/meeting_energy/renewable_ener/feedin_tariff/fits_review/fits_review.aspx

Whilst a reduction was planned, this is far beyond what was expected.  If you have been considering a Solar PV installation then now is the time to make sure you still benefit from the higher tariff levels so please contact your local EnergyMyWay office as soon as possible to either arrange a survey or get your installation booked in before the December deadline.

Fact sheet regarding the proposed rate cut.

Whilst this is a  large reduction in the Feed-in Tariff EnergyMyWay will still be able to offer cost effective Solar PV installations after the 12th December with anticipated payback periods of between 10 and 12 years still making the installation of Solar PV a viable option in terms of rate of return and reducing your energy bills.
