Breaking news DECC loses it’s right to appeal therefore Feed-in Tariff may remain at 43.3p until 3rd March 2012.
However, DECC are taking their appeal to the Supreme Court. If they win their appeal at the Supreme Court the FiT rate will 21p as from 12th December 2011. We believe that DECC are unlikely to win their appeal in the Supreme Court and are trying to drag out the whole process to limit the number of installations which attract the higher 43.3p rate.
If you decide to go ahead with your Solar PV installation before 3rd of March you are quite likely to receive a Feed-in Tariff rate of 43.3p / kWh.
