EnergyMyWay appointed as Oxfordshire Community Group installer

The Oxfordshire Community Group is a new partnership consisting of four sustainable groups in north Oxfordshire; Sustainable Kirtlington, Kindlington vs Climate Change, Sustainable Woodstock and Low Carbon Oxford North. The groups have come together to form a large community buying group for Solar PV in the area.

The group buying scheme is based on a model developed by the National Energy Foundation and used by other community groups around the UK. It aims to take away the headache of finding a supplier by identifying one reliable installer who can do the job to a high standard and charge discounted rates. EnergyMyWay has been selected as the preferred installation partner for the scheme after a rigorous tendering process. The goal is to achieve at least 50 Solar PV installations under the Oxfordshire Community Group scheme.

Following the successful launch of a similar scheme in Oxfordshire, run by Sustainable Wantage in partnership with EnergyMyWay, we are delighted to be working with the Oxfordshire Community Group on this exciting project. The scheme launches in June.
