Head of Rural Services is Richard Greasby MRICS FAAV, an experienced land agent who has been with the company since 2005. The Rural Department offers a wide range of services including Farm Agency, Valuations, Equestrian, Farm & Estate management, and Country House Consultancy.
In-House Energy Expertise
Butler Sherborn also offers a specialist and well-resourced Energy Department, run by Richard Palmer MSc MRICS, who also heads up the Estate Management Department. Richard, who grew up on his family farm, has extensive experience in the energy sector as experience managing diverse rural estates. He fulfilled a number of highly relevant roles at RWE nPower (energy purchasing; wholesale, retail and renewables valuations; product development and risk management) as well as working as an Energy Consultant at Eb4, Ecotricity and Utilyx.
Given Butler Sherborn?s energy resource and credentials, we were thrilled that Richard recognised the value in the Energy Assets highly specialised and niche service ? and that he believed it would complement his firm?s existing portfolio of energy services and their independent and impartial approach.
