Regional Director, Nish Dattani has completed his training to become a volunteer Eco Schools Assessor and will be carrying out audits of local schools in Harrow, Wembley, Pinner, & Northwood looking to achieve the green flag award for sustainability. Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life. The main topics covered include Energy (Renewable Energy (Solar panels, Wind Turbines, Heat Pumps etc) and reduction in energy demand measures), Litter policy, Waste, Water, and Transport amongst others and the programme is very much pupil led.
