Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (31 July, 2014) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.

This extension project incorporated a timber-clad extension with a zinc roof. The homeowner approached EnergyMyWay looking for a suitable solar panel array that would integrate with the design of the property as well as Maximising returns from energy bill savings and the Feed-in Tariff.

EnergyMyWay designed and installed 18 Romag R16 panels, completely covering the roof and blending with the property. Solar panels were installed before the roof finish, an economical and aesthetically pleasing solar design. In addition we installed an Immersun iBoost which redirects excess solar energy to the immersion heater. This means more solar power is used in the property instead of being exported back to the grid, saving even more on the bills.
