Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (2 December, 2014) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.
This 16-panel solar array on a south west facing roof is a typical example of many of our domestic solar panel installations. The homeowner was keen to install solar panels to reduce electricity bills and maximum the returns available from the Feed-in Tariff. The south west facing roof of the property presented the perfect location for panels, in this case we recommended Amerisolar 250w solar panels.
EnergyMyWay provided advice and proposals following a survey of the property. We then installed 16 solar panels, a 4kWp array which will significantly reduce the electricity bill and deliver around £800 a year in tax free income, guaranteed for 20 years. Another happy EnergyMyWay customer!
