Mr and Mrs Culver had been considering Solar PV for some time, thanks to the great returns available from the Feed-in Tariff. When they bought a new electric car it was the perfect time to have Solar Panels installed. EnergyMyWay were asked to review the best option for using solar to charge the car, bring down the cost of the household electricity bill and generate a tax-free income from the government subsidy.
Roof space was limited so we recommended 10 SunPower 327W Solar PV panels to be installed on the roof. SunPower panels are more efficient than standard solar panels so are ideal for maximising power from smaller roofs. The Culvers can now expect to achieve a financial gain of £820 per year for 20 years thanks to savings and earnings from their SunPower panels.
