Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (11 June, 2014) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.
Mr and Mrs Smith approached EnergyMyWay looking to reduce their rising electricity bill and hoping to earn a return on an investment in Solar Panels. Roof space was limited so we were challenged to achieve the maximum return possible from the space available.
We recommended and installed eight high-efficiency SunPower 327W Solar PV panels on the roof. SunPower panels are much more efficient than standard Solar PV panels so they are an excellent option for maximising the power available from smaller roof spaces. These eight SunPower panels will deliver as much electricity as 10 standard panels would generate, so the Smiths are able to enjoy healthy return on their investment in Solar.
