Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (24 January, 2013) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.
Rising energy bills prompted Mrs Jinman to find out if she could reduce her energy costs with Solar PV panels. Now she generates nearly £500 a year in savings and tax-free payments.
The dormer roof limited the roof space available for PV panels. By carefully surveying the roof, EnergyMyWay were able to install more panels than other companies and therefore Mrs Jinman appointed our Southampton Solar PV experts to carry out the work.
