Woodgreen Leisure Centre has two main areas: the leisure centre and a swimming pool. Usage is particularly high in the summer months.

The site is owned by Cherwell District Council who were keen to reduce their energy bills and manage their budget more effectively. By being energy efficient they would also be helping to protect local services like this leisure centre.

A 128 kWp sized Solar system was installed on a steel roof with two points of connection to the national grid.

The centre was also concerned about vandalism; bricks and other items were sometimes thrown on to the roof so EnergyMyWay recommended and installed Romag solar panels because of their toughened glass.
