Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (31 January, 2014) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.
This family was keen to find ways to become more sustainable as well as being keen to benefit from the Return on Investment. The property has a South West facing roof and so the panels and solution needed to maximise performance. The client approached Energy My Way on the recommendation of others that had benefited from our services.
A 3.4kWp system was installed using high quality LG Mono X Neon panels. These panels have a higher quality silicon cell than some other manufacturers and so are subject to less degradation over time. In addition performance is being maximised by the use of a SolarEdge inverter with individual optimisers for each panel. This system maximises the output of each individual panel and can increase the overall performance of the array by up to 25%.
