Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (1 August, 2011) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.

North Hykeham Town Council approached EnergyMyWay looking for sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions that would help improve their green credentials.

EnergyMyWay installed a 3.995kWp Solar Romag panel system that will offset almost 2 tonnes of carbon each year. The council are so happy with the installation that they are now promoting the benefits of alternative and sustainable energy to their own electorate.

As well as reducing the parish council’s carbon footprint the system also generates an annual income of £1,550 and savings of £360, a return on investment of 14%.
