Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (30 January, 2016) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.
Consultation with EnergyMyWay confirmed with this client that investing a community fund into solar panels would have a long term benefit for the surgery in terms of bill savings and recouping the cost through the FiT, and therefore for the community itself.
