As part of the complete review of Renewable energy for this rural property in Cheshire, EnergyMyWay advised on a ground mounted Solar PV array in addition to a 35kW biomass boiler. The client had some land that was unused which meant we were not restricted to roof space and allowed us to increase the total size of the array to gain a better return.
Our Cheshire Solar PV experts recommended and installed a 10kW Solar PV array which is the optimum size to maximise the returns from the higher rate Feed-in Tariff. We managed the planning application end-to-end on behalf of our client and achieved consent. For the installation we were required to put in a 3 phase supply, which we managed on behalf of the client in cooperation with Western Power. Our client wanted a quality and aesthetically pleasing German-engineered Solar PV system. EnergyMyWay installed all black, German SolarWorld panels to suit the client’s objectives.
To further improve the return on investment, we installed an optimmersion system, which diverts solar energy to heat the hot water tank. We incorporated sophisticated monitoring to optimise solar energy usage and smart plugs were fitted, which will switch on when spare solar electricity is available.
