Return is calculated using combined bill savings and subsidy earnings. Bill savings are calculated using estimated energy usage and either the electricity price at the time of installation (31 July, 2014) or, for our heating products, the existing fuel type available to the property.

EnergyMyWay had previously completed a Solar Hot Water installation for Mr and Mrs J who then approached EnergyMyWay to ask about Solar PV for their property in Bardney.

EnergyMyWay Lincolnshire recommended and installed 10 high efficiency Sunpower 327Wp solar panels onto the flat roof at the back of the property, designing the position of the panels carefully to ensure that the most was made of the available roof space and to avoid the shading. The effect of shading is further reduced by the use of a Solaredge Inverter with its power optimisers maximising the output of each panel.

By installing solar panels, Mr. and Mrs. J will enjoy reduced energy bills, and by taking advantage of the Government’s Feed-in Tariff they can look forward to an estimated annual income (including bill saving) of over £800.
